A long time ago - perhaps in the 80’s - I read a novel about a man with a kind of Multiple Personality Disorder who was able to use the different abilities of the people who inhabited his body, and was targeted, or used by some sort of government agency for clandestine shenanigans. I actually thought the title was “Abel, Baker, Charlie.” or something like that, but Googling it hasn’t produced the desired result. Can anyone give my memory a jolt?
I don’t know why you didn’t find it on Googling. When I Googled “Abel Baker Charlie”, I got the book at the top of the list returned. The title is Abel Baker Charley, and it’s by John R. Maxim. Further Googling indicates that there’s another book by Maxim called Mosaic which also sounds like your description.
