So, what are everyone’s Halloween plans, then?
I got bored halfway through the thread. so I have no idea what we’re doing. Just assume I’ll be there and Grace can work it out. I may check back when my attention span increases.

I have no plans for Halloween. I’ll probably just hand out candy to the kiddies in my neighborhood.
Zyada, just let me know when you need help. I’ll come over to sweep and do whatever else you need done. Don’t let me near your dishwasher or I’ll take everything out and put it where I think it should go. And, as Ziactrice found out the other night, I’m very particular about how you load the machine. She started loading the dishwasher and I took the stuff out and rearranged them. I think I’m more like my mother than I originally thought.

I don’t have anything planned, but weeknights aren’t too great for me.
Well, I’m putting a small haunted house together at work for employees’ kids on Halloween, so I won’t be good for much but handing out candy that night. I was just wondering what everyone else will be doing.

I don’t think we’ll mind a dirty house and if we do, part of the fun will be wondering if that moldy thing between the cushions is real or fake. It’s Halloween. We’re supposed to be frightened.

Well, given the babysitter and/or presence of kids, I’m thinking of starting the trickle-in about 2 PM. I’ll aim at getting the meat on the table around 4:30 or 5 PM, that way if I slide a little back, no one will starve.
How is that for everyone? The hours are flexible. Especially since I’m no longer employed.
Anyone around here who needs a B.S. ChE with an EIT certification, just tell me, okay?
I really wish I could be there, but I’m out of town that weekend. Damn my work for getting in the way of fun. Bah!

Just to be really clear on this…
By “second Saturday in December”, do you really mean December 14? The original description was “second weekend in December”, which could be confusing (at least for me) since there’s a split weekend at the end of November/beginning of December.

I was perfectly convinced it was the 14th, but I skimmed through the thread and didn’t actually see it. I just wanted to make sure before I tell my boss when I’m off.
