That settles it with me. If Scotti is going to join us in February, then that’s when it should be.
So, now we have a date, 3rd weekend in February, all we need now are the time and place.

I think we still should go down to the bowling alley not this weekend but next weekend… so we can practice a bit and master our ball handling before Scotti comes. Then we can go down again when she’s here. And strike out one by one. grin Of course Grace has a husband already but maybe she can pick up a spare for Scotti. indicates JimB
Mrs. Chef has asked for a Sunday gathering so she can join us. What do you folks say to Sunday, July 29? We can meet at my house and I can feed everyone if you want… the bowling alley is second only to the airport when it comes to expensive food that isn’t worth the price. They have “extreme bowling” from nine p.m. to midnight on Sundays, where they turn off the regular lights and turn on the disco lights, but I’m afraid that would be too late for Chef Jr. They also have a deal in the morning where you rent the lane by the hour instead of per game. Of course she can’t do it in the afternoon because she is working some birthday parties.
In fact I should confer with her to nail down the times she is and isn’t available, but in the meantime how does that day look for you folks? (We could convene at my place and watch The Mummy on DVD, have dinner, and bowl in the evening…)

Sounds good to me, Troy. Some practice would be good. I’d hate to strike out if I could be the spare for Scotti. She’s right down my alley. I’d sure hope for a perfect score, and not be left in the gutter.
The 29th is fine with me, I have no plans for the rest of my life.

No can do on the 29th–my calendar shows a Duel Arcane with an evil archwizard in Colorado that day. I’m leaving Thursday evening so that I can get in position to ambush the sucker, and (if all goes well) should be back sometime Monday evening.

Sayyyyyy, does anyone want to get together for drinks on Saturday or Sunday? Mr. Grace is out of town (again!) and all I have planned this weekend is a baby shower on Sunday afternoon.

Hmmm, next next weekend. That is a possibility. But I don’t know for sure. I’ll just have to wait and see. Morning would be best, as I would really need to leave by 10p.m. Here’s hoping.
Yeah, I wear a 13. Early is good if we are doing this on Sunday, because I have to be at work by 10 PM.

However, I have been promised, on several occasions, a ScottiDoesDallas DopeFest. [sub]sheesh, get your minds out of the gutter, all right?[/sub] Bowling does not have to be included…dinner and roses [sub]preferably the blushy looking creamy orangish ones…[/sub] will suffice. 
Not that I require roses, exactly, just mentioning that I like them. And freesia. And trips to Maui. And…well, it just occurred to me that I should shut up. So I will. [sub]For now, anyway.[/sub]

Lived there for two years [sub]uh, 30 years ago[/sub]. I’d go back, it sure wouldn’t be the same though. I think I’d have to get a few extra jobs to get enough money together to go, though.
