Hi. My friend and I are going back and playing Diablo 2. I am playing a Sorc. We will only be playing through Normal. Unfortunately almost all of the build guides assume that you will be playing in Nightmare and Hell with a high level character. That isn’t the case here. With that in mind, what are some good builds or skills to focus on for a low level Sorc in Normal difficulty?

At low levels, Charged Bolt is your friend. It does about the same damage as anything else at those levels, but it does it to pretty much everything on the screen (or at least, half the screen, in front of you).
It drops off in usefulness at about the start of Nightmare, but if you do decide to play on past that after all, D2 added the option to re-build your character in the last patch. You get one re-build for free from the Den of Evil quest in each difficulty, and can get more from a little trinket you can craft that can be gotten relatively cheaply. If you should happen to make it to level 30 or beyond, I recommend an enchantress.
