Yikes! No, I don’t buy that brand (I haven’t ever seen it around here), thank goodness. But that’s scary stuff. I wonder how long until the lawsuits hit?
I don’t know if there will be any. IIRC, the courts view a dog as a possession, and you can only sue for the monetary value of the animal, not emotional distress, or anything like that. Unless the dog was a pure-bred show dog, I doubt if the amount won would be worth the time an expense of a suit.
