Dick Van Dyke Revival? Will It Bomb?

Why is Carl Reiner trying to bring something back that should be left as-is? This show was a classic in its day, and it should remain there. This will surely hurt its image in people’s memories. Shouldn’t he leave well enough alone? What is your opinion…and please post-back once the episode airs some time next week, IIRC.

Wasn’t this just on a couple of days ago?

Oh, for goodness sake…and TV LAnd is STILL running promos? Are you sure it isn’t next week? Or, as Daffy Duck would say: “This week’s next week is next week’s last week!”

You can always trust the Duck!

If you’re talking about this, then yep, it did.

I thought it was ok myself. Not stellar but not horrible.

Crap, I missed it! Even worse, TV Land is **STILL ** running ads promoting it! I guess in TV Land, even the factual promos are retro! Those boobs in Hollywood can’t admit when they ought to just let something go.

Eveybody, sing with me now:
(to the tune of Hooray for Hollywood)
“To Hell with Hollywood,
They put out pictures and they think they’re good…”

TV Land is still promoting it because it’ll air on TV land on May 18 at 9.

They’re also showing the walnut episode as well as the one where Laura tells the world about Alan’s toupee.
