Did Farrakhan sing Spill The Wine?

This is truly an absurd post.

I know he didn’t, but I was just listening to a clip of Farrakhan describing his little ride on the spaceship then happened to hear Spill The Wine.

I think Farrakhan could do a decent karaoke version particularly on the spoken parts.

There must be a clip of him saying “I could feel hot flames of fire” somewhere.

Bwhaa… don’t be screwin’ up my enjoyment of that song now, ya hear? What’s next John F, Quanell X singing … and the black women go “do dedo dedo dedo do do…”?
Dig that pearl, yeah, awww…

No way, Lou Reed has a mellow cool voice but Quanell is all screechy and stuff. Besides that it’s “colored girls” and other than Lou Reed Probably only Elvis could have pulled that line off.

Seriously, listen to Farrakhan next time and imagine him saying

“I dreamed I was in a Hollywood movie. And that I was the star of the movie,
This really blew my mind”

I’m tellin ya.

Not sure why you think this is so far-fetched. Farrakhan didn’t sing that song that I know of, but he DID used to be a Calypso singer, going by the name “The Charmer.” He put out a few albums, even.

I didn’t know that he was a singer, now I’m even more interested.

I was really thinking there is a vocal similarity and was curious if anybody else had noticed it.

Now I’m going to see if I can find a sample of “The Charmer”.

I dreamed I was in a German work camp.
That I was a Jew in the work camp.
This really blew my mind.
The fact that I
A closed minded, reactionary, raving dog
should be a Jew in a German work camp.

mmmmmmmm!

Louis Farrakhan certainly did not sing “Spill the Wine.” However, he did play a mean Jew’s Harp on “Pass the Dutchie.”
