So Boogarheal changed the topic a bit… does the divine automatically exclude sexuality/sensuality? Well, the classical christianity does. That’s the reason why living conditions were so horrid during the middle ages, actually… the church considered nudity to be sinful. Sex was seen as a necessity for procreation. Sex for pleasure would be unheard of, I’d think… So if Jesus had an orgasm, it probably wasn’t deliberate… HOWEVER, baptism is supposed to redeem all sins… and Jesus’s ministry didn’t really begin until AFTER he was baptised in the river Jordan. So maybe, as a kid, he whacked off all the time… maybe even got a little randy with the friendly neighborhood hooker?.. then got baptised, sins redeemed, perfect being once again!

totally in the FWIW category, but…
in several sermons our (RC) pastor has emphasized how Christ was fully human (as well as truly God), and thus could identify with/understand all the human condition. [ok, my emphasis there.]
run with that in whatever direction you will. i’m expressing no opinions other than JC had some truly good ideas that have been supported and thwarted by his followers over the intervening years.
but then, i’m leaning towards paganism anyway…
