Did Sean Penn really tie Madonna to a chair for three days???

A buddy of mine told me that Sean Penn tied Madonna to a chair and left her there for three days. With no food and water. Sitting in her own waste. Once she managed to escape she ran down the street until she found a police officer. Really???

I’ve checked the intartubes on this but I’m getting a broad spectrum of returns.

Does anyone have the facts on this?

Wasn’t that one of her fantasies in her book “Sex”?

I don’t know, but I’m guessing she deserved it.

Excuse me? What could any human being do that could possibly warrant this treatment?

And if not – why not?

This.

It reminds me of a scene in the film Secretary, but otherwise it’s the first I ever heard of it and I have a friend who knows everything about Madonna. Outside of knowing her personally, that is.

Apparently Sean was abusive in some manner but to what exent is largely speculation I think.

And these.

KGS claimed in this post that he saw the chair she had been tied to.

You win.

I had encountered the story about Sean Penn tying Madonna to a chair, but in the version I read, he tied her to a chair over New Years Eve, not for three days. And maybe not for all of New Years Eve. In the version I heard, Madonna’s problem was simply that she did not want to be tied to a chair at that particular time, not that she had been abused as described in the OP.

We need to get KGS in here to give us more details.

I rest my case.

Did Sean Penn really go three days without tying Madonna to a chair?

I heard it alluded to in a Rolling Stone article on her, but the author said that there were so many versions of it, s/he didn’t know which one to believe.

I can only wish that he had gagged her as well.

I’ve heard the story. Don’t know about its veracity, but she’s made it clear he was abusive. She only wrote 1,000,000 songs about him.

No, he went three days without punching a photographer.

I would imagine most Brits listening to her new “British” accent would consider that a beginning of a fair punishment.
