Did someone say we need another Cat Pic thread?

Maggie, the sweetest critter to ever draw breath.

Havoc discovers rock & roll.

Pixel says “Hello!”

What I see when I surf the Dope.

Best buds.

Here’s my guy. Hopefully this will work, it’s my first time.

Here’s our menagerie.

Gracie May, our oldest and laziest cat.

Leo the chickenhearted. Thinks he’s a tough guy but runs and hides from the other cats.

Roxie, just came in from the rain.

Roscoe, he was found as a feral kitten but has turned into a lover.

Bella is the youngest, we just had her fixed. She loves to terrorized the other 4.

And for the aaahh factor, Roxie and Bella as kittens. That is Blake, my youngest grandson with Bella.

Here’s my Old lady Kitty

I love looking at all the kitty pictures, they’re all so sweet!! Great idea Mr. Bus Guy.

My kitty’s been living with me since January: Iris on the chair , wrestling with the rug, stealth kitty!, and curled up with a book.

Lucretia

No Dope for you!

With her best friend

Tastes like chicken!

I give, for your viewing pleasure, Arizona and Spooky. They believe they are helping with the laundry, but they’re not.

I finally sync’d my Treo last week, so I can play now too.

First, some introductions. From left to right, Dexter (aka Pookie), Phoenix (aka Nini), and Tallulah (aka Lulie).

Next we have a demonstration of feline team-bedmaking skills, approximately 2 minutes after my putting clean sheets on the bed and walking out of the room to check on the quilt in the dryer.

In this series you will find a demonstration of the highly popular passtime of manipulating Pookie into providing a bath. (Bonus: A cameo appearance of Mrs. Dewgrrl can be seen while solo-nap training in the background)

[li]The sincere though ulteriorly motivated loving approach.[/li][li]The consistently predictable payoff.[/li][li]The sobering insight that one has been taken advantage of.[/li][/ol]

Nini is the baby, and I found her and her mother in our toolshed when she was just a kitten. Her mother was much too fast for me, but I was able to catch Nini. She seemed more than young enough to tame, but she has grown up with a decisive distrust for humans. This is about as close as I can get (and as undeniably ‘loving’ as she gets) unless the other cats are very nearby.

Of course there is no lack of love and affection between Nini and the other felines of the house.

An action shot of by far the cutest interspecies doubles-napping team in the universe.

Tallulah is the talkative one in the house, so I’ve taken the liberty of transcribing a couple of her dictations…

“Thanks so much for coming this fine evening. For my last number, I’d like to play Hairball Blues for you.”

Patience, Grasshopper. You too can experience the brief euphoric freedom that is The Front Yard, but you must first match your breathing to the rhythm of life and learn to choose your opportunities wisely.”

:smack: I meant to include a link to this somewhat on-topic Google Video that had me in a full laugh-crying seizure this morning.

Mr. Bus Guy Your kitties are wonderful. Evil Fat Scarlett really stays in character! But I want to comment on your furniture. WOW I say. Very fun and wacky sofas.

honeydewgrrl, It’s a good thing I have cleaner for my LED screen, because I just spit coffee all over it when I watched that video. I especially like the last one. Who would ever teach their cat to say “Long Johnson?”

Fonzie
Or the Fonz, was my mom’s and he got passed to me when I bought my house. Now he lives as royalty without two schnauzers chasing him.

He is bigger than he looks btw, about 30 pounds. I need to get some better pics.

Thanks. Blame mom for that. I inherited the thing, and the matching chair from her, and we keep it in the front room just to fill up space. Cuervo has taken it over, so we’re not too picky about what he does with it. Anyone that sits there is required to pay him with neck scritches.

Robot Arm, Heart On My Sleeve, those are two beautiful photographs. And the kitties are nice, too!

That video is HILARIOUS! (I used to have a cat that said “mama”.)

Just popping back in to say great photos everyone. They’ve given me lots of smiles this morning. And such personalities! I swear, if I get another kitten, I’m blaming it on you people.

Holy crap…I have this urge to go home and teach my cats to talk now!

E.

OK guys… I double-dog dare any of you to find a cuter ADULT cat than my Charlie, upside down.

And if his sheer cuteness doesn’t get ya, how about his story?

He was rescued from an abandoned burning house a little over a year ago, and the firefighters took him to our city animal shelter. As is their usual, they did not offer him treatment, leaving him in a cage, badly burned, for 5 days, waiting for his owner to show up and claim him. No one came, and Charlie was scheduled for euthanasia.

Enter PAWS, a local organization that goes to the shelters and rescues cats about to loose the last of their 9 lives. The arrived on the day Charlie was to be euthanized, and he had such a sweet disposition, despite being in horrific pain, they took him. It took 5 months of rehab to get him ready for adoption, but even when he was put up for a new home, no one wanted him because he has some ugly scars on his back and part of an ear burned off. I came in, not looking for a cat at all (I went to buy dog food… go figure.) and Charlie and I just clicked. he came home with me, and is the best cat ever.
