Of course, because it’s a public message board: when you say controversial or inflammatory things, someone always takes the bait and replies. That’s why DNFTT never, ever works. People as a collective don’t spontaneously ignore trolls and irritants very well.
Which is not to say I think Diogenes is a troll, I don’t. I think he’s just an attention whoring blowhard who is deeply in love with the sight of his own posts. Unfortunately, the net effect on otherwise-interesting threads is the same.
