Dips vs parallel bar dips

In this Starting Strength variant, the author seems to distinguish between ‘dips’, as written under ‘Workout A’, and ‘Parallel Bar Dips’, under the ‘Fridays only’ section. What’s the difference between those two?

I think when he just says dips, he means Bench Dips. Obviously, parallel bar dips are on the bars, like this.

I’d guess that “dips” means bench dips.
