I thought the original line was “I hate to disillusion you lady, but you’re sucking on my elbow.”
Edit: I just checked, and search results indicate “'I hate to disillusion you, ma’am, but you’re sucking on my arm.”
Mel quotes it as “Excuse me, ma’am, but your sucking on my arm.” I really don’t think Mel, Richard or Cleavon would ever say “disillusion.”
