The way she looked. I couldn’t really hear her playing. But her aesthetic seemed to derive from Prince.
Prince was an amazing guitarist. My impression - not knowing her music, and not recalling having seen her other than at the SB halftime - was that she appeared to be more about image than musicality. Which is why I referenced hair bands, which were more about looking a certain way, than displaying a high level of musical proficiency.
The likes of Billy Strings and Molly Tuttle are amazing guitarists - with no need for patent leather platform boots.

So… ideally you aren’t flushing those moist wipes, right? That may make it a lot more gross than toilet paper.

Just watched the solo again. Can anyone explain to me what was spectacular about it? Just impressed me as standard rock guitar noodling. I mean, it was fine.
That was my impression. It was a solid, competent solo. It was fine.
I’d agree. I thought it was fine. I was definitely impressed with her rendition of America The Beautiful from Super Bowl LV.

I’ll help out a bit and clarify that she’s also not a rapper just in case there was some confusion.
Her musical proficiency is more than adequate to get invited twice to the perform at the Superbowl.
Matt Damon is the Super Bowl MVP. The Dunkin commercial was a good set up for his lines.
