I’ve driven past the Capitol, but that’s the closest I’ve ever been to it.
The only show I’ve watched recently (meaning in the last twelve months) is Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries, so the next thing I watch will probably be another episode of that. I do need to watch the last few episodes of Professor T and Murdoch Mysteries, though, so I may watch one of those instead.
I picked Data, with Bishop as second choice, for my robot guardian.
My preferred candidate would be a third-party one, so if they came close in even a three-way split I would be astounded.
My favourite socks are the ones I bought four years ago when the local Sears was closing and everything was on sale. No idea what brand they were, but I wish I’d gone back for a couple more packages.
I flew Tokyo-San Francisco on Northwest Orient back in '87, and was so impressed by the service I actually sent a letter to corporate commending one of the FAs. Most of the flying I’ve done since then has been space-A on military flights, but the Air Force wasn’t one of the poll options…
That was one of the only two Heinlein books I couldn’t finish (the other being Job). The second time I tried, I think I made it into the second chapter before giving up. I know there’ve been a few other books I didn’t finish, but I don’t remember any of the titles.
Drove my ex crazy (actually, that was a putt, not a drive) by having one book at each end of the couch and one in the bedroom, and reading whichever one was closest.
My favourite form of exercise is jogging, but nowadays I mostly don’t exercise, so those were the two options I picked. The main form of exercise I do engage in is pushing a shopping cart around the supermarket. (Fortunately, most of the stuff I buy is at or near eye level, so I don’t have to keep bending over to get things from the bottom shelf…)
