I agree that happens. But does that mean we should have more nude men and older people? Okay with me, but I’m guessing there’s less pushback when they stick with “attractive young women.”
Yup. If the nudity is there because it isn’t realistic for people to be portrayed as dressed all the time, then men and older women should be included. I just get tired of being constantly reminded that men are the primary audience producers want to attract.

Interesting point about the “root” pronunciation: I do indeed pronounce “root” and “route” the same way. However, I have relatives who pronounce “root” with the same vowel sound as “foot.”
This would never occur to me, and I’m struggling to imagine it. For one thing, I can’t imagine pronouncing “vase” with an R in it, so I’m assuming you’re thinking of “Mars” in an R-less accent? But if you leave the R out of “Mars,” wouldn’t it rhyme with “schnozz”?
Received Pronunciation (British standard English) is non-rhotic: “Mars” sounds nearly identical to “moss” except that the final consonant is voiced in the former, sibillant in the latter. I am not clear on whether the “r” contributes to the voicing. (Also, if you have a US midwest accent, the vowel in “Mars” is not the same as the vowel in “moss”.)

The R is not really pronounced, probably due to laziness (it’s easier
to say “Ma’s” than “Mars”) - that’s how a lot of British words occur.
Schnozz is likely from Yiddish.

For me, route can rhyme with “scoot” (when mantioning a highway, such as Route 66) or with “scout” (when discussing people’s movement paths, such as a paper route).
