A number have less than 1 gram per serving. I like Special K myself. I eat it dry.
As a sugary snack, I will eat- rarely- that cereal or Sugar Frosted Flakes.
But when i was a kid it was Cheerios with one spoon of sugar.

Exactly the opposite for me. I often indulge in a hot breakfast, often including eggs, when I am on vacation.
Oh yeah, if i can get it, I want steak & eggs.
I have four sub-categories of socks in my sock drawer:
Waterproof socks
Compression socks
Travel socks
Toe socks
Boot socks
Heavy hiking socks
Light hiking socks
Wool dress socks
Wool footies
Special patterned socks
Cotton footies/anklets
Athletic socks
Solid dress socks
Patterned socks
Trouser socks and stockings
I can confirm this because I organized my socks this week in preparation for an upcoming trip.
Four sock categories: Regular, Dress-up (these are thin and long), Very Short Ankle (though I’m phasing these out), and Wool (rarely used - just for cross-country skiing and the occasional winter hike).
At first I assumed I would have an “athletic” category, but I realized that’s merged into the “regular” one – I use the same socks for tennis, etc. that I do for normal (non-fancy) work days and weekends.
ETA: Very similar to kenobi_65’s categories.
I rarely wear socks so the few random pairs I have are just jammed in the back of my underwear drawer.
Four categories: White thin socks in the back (two types, but not separated). Black gold toe socks in the front, on the right. Blue gold toe socks to the left of those. Heavier wool socks in the left. (A few types, but not separated.)
I also have some nylons on another drawer, but i almost never wear them.
Socks are divided into worn twice since last wash, worn once and unworn. Once there are no unworn the worn once get used, whenever I go to the laundrette I take the worn twice ones with me. They’re all black cotton work socks so I never sort them by pair.
I have 2 kinds of loose socks in my drawer. Black ones and white ones. They’re all the same brand so even if I wore one of each, I wouldn’t notice.
My feet sweat more than yours. I sometimes change socks midday to have fresher, drier socks.
(But if i don’t do anything energetic, i might wear the same shirt 3 or more times before it needs to be washed.)
I have approximately the same sub-categories, but I’ve given up on keeping them sorted into their own categories. So when I’m looking for socks to wear, I already know what type I want, depending on the activity and the shoe.
All my white socks + the handful of post-retirement dress socks are in an unpaired jumble in one drawer. Because I wear the dress socks maybe once a year, they have settled to the bottom like sediment.
Most people say “koo-pon” where I grew up (New York metro area), but a majority say “kyew-pon” where I live now (Wisconsin).
Or maybe it’s shifted nationally since I was a kid?
Raised in California, I have always pronounced it Q-pon despite hearing it most often pronounced as coo-pon on TV and film. If it was a totally unfamiliar word I would assume it was pronounced coo-pon. I’m not sure why the less intuitive pronunciation has stuck with me since childhood.
I want to party with YOU ![]()
I have two categories of socks, in separate drawers: socks I wear, and socks I don’t wear. Every so often I open the second drawer and wonder “why am I keeping these?” Then I close the drawer.
Also from California. Koo-pon always sounds wrong even though I would never say kyoo-d’état or kyoopé / kyoop (for the car). Language is weird.
Ha, me, exactly. I used to have a blue-ish teal Accord that I loved, and it came with lightish beige fabric upholstery. My Insight was almost Royal blue, and I liked that one a lot, too. But my next two cars came after Honda mostly only offered neutral colors. Misty Beige was the first (a friend said it sounded like a stripper name), and Urban Titanium is my current car. I have to call it grey, but it has an undertone of purplish hue. Dare I say mauve-ish. It’s only really obvious in bright sunlight, otherwise it’s just boring darkish grey.
Yeah, I either eat that or unsweetend whole wheat shredded wheat minis. With 2% milk and fresh fruit. Again, for health reasons. I’m not especially crazy about either. If I’m treating myself, I’ll get hot breakfast at a restaurant or eat Pepperidge Farm raspberry turnovers (NOT recommended by my doc). TJs had some frozen Kouign Aman pastries last winter that were superb! Good thing they were a limited time item.
It wasn’t because my feet were sweaty, but when I changed socks on a cross-country skiing jaunt, it was one of the most pleasurable things I’d ever felt. I went around boasting about how smart I was to bring an extra pair! I was obnoxious.
Also from California, and I mostly say Qpon. Sometimes I say coopon, but less often. No idea why.
I have a lot of novelty socks. I’ll see something that appeals, and I’ll get them. I also have We Rate Dogs socks, and I received a pair of socks from someone I Patreon support (Russian couple who make vids with their dachshunds – the socks had each of their dogs one on each sock).
One last comment: just reading the Color Survey Results post (thanks, @puzzlegal !), and I can spell fuchsia! Because I know it was named after the guy (Fuchs) who named the flower so Fuchs-ia is easy to remember.
