I’ve heard some talk about subliminal messages and sexual inuendos worked into Disney movies. I just wondered if anyone else knows of any??

Yeah, Snopes is wunnerful. They have a good page on the allegation that the word “SEX” appears in the clouds in a Disney movie (Aladdin? Lion King? can’t remember) and make the case that it actually says “SFX” - the special effects (or sound effects? can’t remember) people were celebrating themselves.

Snopes doesn’t address the actual true subliminal message in Disney films. Imbedded in all the songs and in the background of the cartoons is this insidious message:
“buy…more…disney…crap”

I know someone who claims to have found the letters SEX in Lion King. Obviously this individual had a very boring day and a lot fo time to kill…
As for the box covers, the later release of the Little Mermaid lacks the castle in the background. I guess someone thought they saw a penis in one of the towers…
The fact that the new box has deleted this is proof that they may very well have been right!
But animators are only human, and I was lucky enough to tape some XXX animation from the '20’s, done by Fleischer studio animators. They get tired of drawing cute cartoon animals over and over and sometimes they let loose!
They’re called the Baby Blue Cartoons, and if they’re online I am not aware of it…
