I want to make lots of paellas and don’t want to wash any pans. Are there disposable pans that would be appropriate? I have seen 12 pizza pans but they are a little too small and not deep enough. I’m looking for something about 16" wide and 1" deep. Ideally it would fit inside a real pan while cooking.
I don’t think it’s possible, not for what you describe.
A pan that fits inside another pan would inhibit the heat transfer, making cooking difficult if not impossible.
You need to brown the various meats in the paella, pretty much impossible to do without a real pan, and hard to do in anything less than a thick-bottomed frying pan.
I’d suggest looking into a good dishwasher.
What she said.
Paella requires heat.
Heat requires mass.
Mass requires expense.
A disposable liner isn’t going to cut it, and unless you feel like throwing away a fifty dollar pan every time you make paella, I think it’s time to break out the Brillo.
There are several vendors of non-stick aluminum paella pans on line. 15" dia x 1" deep, easy to clean.
Otherwise try an aluminum foil liner in a plain, NOT non-stick pan.
