Do DP scenes do it for you? (Possible TMI)

Watching porn a few days back I came to a conclusion (no pun intended): I don’t enjoy double pentration scenes. It just doesn’t do it for me. Its’ not so much the hairy man butts blocking the starlet, it just doesn’t seem fun for any involved. The guys can hardly move and the girl, well maybe it might be fun for her depending on her tastes.

So do anyone enjoy DP scenes? Can you attempt to explain what I’m missing? Is this one of those you have to experience it to enjoy it things? I used to hate oral scenes until I experienced it.

I’ve never enjoyed seeing anal sex, and never tried it myself, nor been inclined to. Although I know the pleasure that can be had from some anal stimulation.

Yeah. Or, rather, the idea usually does more for me than the actual porn. I usually get really tired of the fakey porn starlet moans…

I don’t much care for DP scenes. They just never end up looking sexy to me. In general, porn scenes with more men than women tend to lean toward treating the women in more degrading ways than 1-on-1 scenes or scenes with more women than men. I love porn, but I don’t so much love it when the scene involves anything I perceive to be degrading.

I had a roommate years ago who could only watch girl-girl scenes. He simply could not stomach any scene that had a dick in it. This baffled me so that I finally had to ask for an explanation. It turned out that, in junior high school gym class locker room, he was noticably more well-hung than his classmates. Rather than properly not commenting on it, or at the very least acting impressed, his fellow schoolboys made fun of him. Ever since then he has had issues with the idea of looking at another man’s unit.

I’m not so fond of them myself either, nor am I particularly interested in oral (either sort) or lesbian scenes. I prefer straight-ahead heterosexual one on one scenes.

The people involved seem to be actually enjoying themselves.
The orgasms and moaning actually seems real.
Plus no ball sacks bouncing around.

DP does not look sexy to me. I agree that it looks painful, does not seem to make the women enjoy it, seems degrading and violates the “one penis rule.”

If you really want to see some damn looking painful nasty degrading crap in porn, the double vagina or double anal scenes make me absolutely cringe. I’ve seen some of them and the only interest I found in them was “Gosh, isn’t that amazing,” or “Wow! And they gotta stretch out even more to have a kid!” way.

Mainstream porn has come up with a standard filmmaking model that ensures the majority of consumers will find at least some if not most of the movie enjoyable, even while, from moment to moment, any given element will be one that this or that minority of viewers doesn’t particularly like.

Speaking for myself, I don’t much care for the facial climax that’s so popular. And girl-on-girl, for whatever reason, bores me to tears; I sometimes fast-forward past those if it’s apparent there’s no chance of a guy getting involved, unless one of the women is particularly attractive. But a DP, or two guys on one girl in general, that’s actually okay. Trash talking, big thumbs up. And I mean real trash talking, not the repetitive “fuck me, fuck me, ooo, ooo” that passes for chatter in most movies. (There’s a movie called Seven Deadly Sins, IIRC, where each scene centers on one of them: sloth, gluttony, pride, etc. The one for wrath, with the man and the woman snarling at each other and engaging in very aggressive sex, is hotter than hell, IMO.)

So yeah, I do enjoy DP (and even the occasional gangbang flick, which specialize in this sort of thing, but I don’t get those exclusively); I don’t have a “two penis” rule or anything like that. However, like I said, there are other common ingredients that I find either uninteresting or downright unappealing. Ass-to-mouth, for example, skeeves me out. I also really dislike big fake boobs; even the best still have the wrong shape and movement and produce weird stretch marks in certain positions, so my preference is natural all the way. The occasional bit of footplay, by contrast, does nothing for me, but it doesn’t repulse me either, so I let those scenes play through generally. For the most part, if something I don’t like comes on, it’s usually only a minute or so, and I just put up with it for however long it lasts, until it gets back to something I do like. Unless it’s the point of the whole scene, in which case I’ll often skip over it.

A. How can that not be super painful for the chick?

B. Do those orifices ever fully recover from that sort of activity?

Is the idea that a woman might enjoy two partners so unbelievable that the only way the scene can come to fruition is if she suffers an act of degraded humiliation?

I tend to think that porn is useful in exposing our sexist prejudices against women. Why is it so hard for me to grasp that a woman might like doing it w/ five guys? Lord knows I’d like to try doing it with five women!

I knew a woman who REALLY liked DP, so much so that she asked my wife to aske me to help her locate some DP imagery.

I didn’t have much, as it doesn’t do much for me. I like the DP where the gal is giving head and getting fucked at the same time, especailly if she’s got a nice body and it’s well displayed as she performs (and is performed on). But as has been pointed out, in most DP, you’re mostly looking at mansacks.

I don’t think the idea is unbelievable but I do sorta agree with pestie that, often, in porn, these scenes are presented in a degrading fashion. Personally, I am female and find the situation a turn-on (enough that if I rent porn, I specifically look for those scenes) but often dislike how it’s presented in porn.
