Now, if you still want to know about my life … I had no classes today (see: Arts student), but I did have a 9:30 meeting. After that I had coffee with a friend, with some good conversation and important points covered, and a few laughs. Then I went to a study on the Chronicles of Narnia, (today was the end of Prince Caspian), and got drawn into a long discussion about diversity and unity … in the post-modern world. (Not my phrase, I assure you.) I procrastinated most of the afternoon, but I did organize an appreciation dinner. After running into friends at dinner, I went to a showing of The Message – a film about the life of Mohammed and the origins of Islam. it was fascinating. That led into a conversation with a recently-converted Muslim friend and a confused friend (I’m Christian) about … dietary restrictions. I actually did watch tv for about fifteen minutes today – Canada was playing soccer against Mexico, and it gave me a chance to hang out with a co-worker. Now I’m here, up too late again, waiting for my residents to come home (I’m an R.A.). I’m not sure if that qualifies as a life, since today was a slow day.
