Do the existing rules prohibit people from debating the gender of people who identify as transgender?

If your goal is to be a safe place for transgender members, I highly recommend picking option 1. The trade off is that we are unable to debate the validity of transgender identities any more.

That’s not a trade-off, that’s a win-win.
