Question to both men and women. Do you avoid sex while she’s on her period?
Female here; answered ‘other’ because penetrative sex ends up messy and um…not tasty? <coughs> But other kinds of sex are certainly on the board during that time. 
Besides, for whatever reason, I tend to get pretty damn horny during my period. >.< I’m not a fan of holding off just 'cause one variety isn’t as enjoyable as usual.
As a male, I don’t. I find that is when my wimmens is most “responsive”, aggresive, and sexy. I’m just another male in response to heat. Maybe i will be the lucky one.
Yeah, I’ve never understood the ‘being in heat’ thing for human females. I mean…we pretty definitely are NOT gonna get knocked up during that time. Sure, it’s possible, but um…yeah. Probably not.
It can’t be that way for animals in heat, right? That would seem kind of biologically backward.

I’m male and yes I avoid it. There’s just something about bloody menstrual fluids that turns me off. It turns my partner off too so we’re a good match there.
Depends. Sometimes bloody, messy sex is just what the doctor ordered. Other times, it’s not my cup of tea. I guess it’s all about the mood.

Used to not avoid, then after being married for several years we just got tired of the extra laundry, so we stopped. Since the Wife hit menopause it is not an issue.
I think there’s something to this. I’m a man and I’m not the least bit bothered by it. But if my lover was turned off by my parts once a month for five days, I think I’d be a tad bothered by that.

No specific conversation actually. Just that by the time the girls were about four and two, tiredness was our normal state and anything that added to housework was dropped.
I think every serious partner I had, back before all my partners were menopausal, found that orgasms (theirs not mine) were a big bonus at period time.
So I did the opposite of avoiding sex.
