Do you care how Nikki Haley does in the NH primary? If so, why?

Yeah, that whole removing the Confederate Battle Flag from the state flag may have pissed-off some people. Trump doesn’t make that sort of mistake.

A pundit talked about in Iowa how important 50% was for Trump viz. do more than half vote against him and remember, Trump was right at 50%. What is important in NH is can Haley pick up the votes of the suspended campaigns or do they go to Mr. Trump?

ETA: As of writing this Haley has 100% (all 6) of the counted votes.

This. So I’d really like to see her knock Trump out of contention.

She did so in Dixville Notch, though that may not mean much.

Also this:

In the end it looks like Trump will win by 10 points. Probably enough to keep her going but I doubt it will be much of a race going forward.

I don’t think anyone seriously thought she’d win, but it is heartening that the gap is only about 10 points (as opposed to the 20 that was being reported yesterday). That’s a lot of Republican voters who did not vote for Trump. I hope she stays in a well, as it will give a better picture of how the GOP is feeling about Trump this time around. One can hope.

Yeah, at this point it is pretty much about expectations versus performance. There was no question that she would lose - but if she lost by a smaller margin than expected, that can give her momentum.

I saw it, even tho he won- but he didnt win BIG. Part of it- in less than 10 minutes he lied, called the Gov of NH names, called the prez and Haley names, and bloviated about his BIG WIN- which wasnt.
