Do you custom mix your nuts?

I’m considering mixing my own nuts to improve the cashew ratio.

I’m thinking one can of mixed nuts plus one can of cashews ought to achieve the optimal mix. Or is there an even better mix to consider?

Isn’t a can of only cashews a bit too cashew-rich?

Before you mix your nuts, you should first…

I scratch them…

Yeah, just a good washing and a light dusting of powder.

Let’s just say I’m selective about who mixes 'em for me.

Controvert: *Surely *you knew it would go off in this direction…
I know: Don’t call you Shirley.

I’m not a huge fan of cashews. To me, they rank down there with the peanuts. I’d up the almonds, pistachios, and walnuts. Maybe some pecans and filberts if I was feeling exotic. And macadamias if I was feeling flush.

If you’re speaking of in-shell nuts, then yes. Filberts, almonds and Brazil nuts. Maybe some walnuts. Definitely no pecans as someone in the house is anaphylactic to them.

I suspected it would, but I don’t mind a few nutty puns. Anyway, it helps with thread visibility and I wanted more poll results. So go nuts, I say.

Mix? Why would I eat nuts other than cashews?
