Do you cut your sandwich horizontally, vertically, diagonally, other, or not at all?

I cut mine diagonally. Even if it’s on a sub roll, I cut it at an angle. It just looks bigger and better. How do you cut your sammich?

Diagonally. Excepts subs, then it’s vertically.

Same here.

I cut mine at a thirty degree angle

Diagonally.

Vertically

I cut grilled cheese sammiches diagonally, other kinds don’t get cut.

I never cut any of them. What’s the point?

Vertically

Diagonally. Diagonally!! There are few subjects which I feel quite as strongly about.

I don’t cut at all. My SO insists that his be cut, so he does it himself (diagonally, I think.) Now my oldest son insists that his be cut too, but I only make him half a sanwich, so I fold it diagonally and he doesn’t notice the difference.

(My only complaint is that when my SO cuts, say, a grilled cheese sandwich, that’s one more knife for me to wash. I already have quite enough dishes to wash. So now he washes his own sandwich-cutting knives. Peace regained.)

I don’t cut them anymore, but I used to cut them diagonally.

Diagonally. It’s just the right way.

Diagonally. It seems easier to eat that way. You know, because the pointy ends are small and can fit in my mouth easier. I don’t know, that’s my logic anyhow.

I don’t cut them. They fall apart when you eat them.

Diagonally, but not right on the corners. I start the cut about 3/4 an inch away from one corner.

Diagonally, or not at all.

Vertically, straight down the centre–unless it’s a kaiser or a baguette, in which case it gets lopped in half through the middle. All you other people are just nuts.

I don’t cut them either. Generally, I just bite into them from the sides.

Diagonally. Any other way is just to cretinous.
