That’s the kind of typo that would spark a 15 post Facebook thread, each reply funnier than the previous. I have very witty folks in my family and we keep each other highly amused through Facebook.

I use Facebook quite a lot, it’s ideal for arranging nights out etc. I only have as friends people who I actually like, and there’s very little idiocy in my feed.

I was in the first few thousand joiners (March 2004 at the first school after Harvard) and it was great for the first 2-3 years. Fast moving, informative, people actually used it. But as they expanded to pictures and all people and just reposting and posting of article links without any personal opining, the utility and interest waned quickly. The privacy and ownership lines being continually redrawn was the last straw.

I left in 2008.
