Do you have a "psychic" connection with your mate?

I would like to say that I do not believe in ESP, or psychics, or anything like that. I would like to say that, except…I’ve been married for going on 22 years.

Let me tell you of just a few “psychic” things my wife has done to me in the last 6 days:

Every day this week I’ve been in the company of co-workers (not a normal occurance for my line of work. I’m by myself alot). Monday they all want to eat at a mexican place for lunch. I come home after work, wifey is making tacos. On tuesday co-workers want to eat at a sea food place. Come home…guess what!:rolleyes. And so on. All week long this happens. On friday we were all going to eat at Mama Mias, an Itallian place. I called my wife because by this time I was paranoid.
she tell’s me she had planned homemade pizza. This is just this week. Stuff like this has happened since the day after I met her!

Also, during our 21+ years, she’s started to say things I’ve been thinking about. This is really freaking me out.
We were watching t.v. on Wednesday night, a program I didn’t really like. My mind started to wander, and I began thinking of a friend of mine that I haven’t seen for almost 8 years. Suddenly my wife turned to me and said: “what ever became of your friend Randy?”. That’s who I was thinking about!:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
And the t.v. show we were watching had nothing to do with it! I screamed "Why did you ask that?! She replied that it just popped into her head! Randy is someone I’ve known my entire life, but she’s only met once, 8 years ago! And I haven’t been talking about him lately! These are only examples! Stuff like this has been going on for over 22 years now! WTF! Does this happen to you with your S.O.?

Yeah, sometimes stuff like that happens, but not enough to freak out over (the week you detailed in your OP was bona fide freaky). Mostly it’s the finishing-each-other’s sentences type of thing, or the way couples who have been married for a while can have an entire conversation without even completing their phrases.

MAN: Did you get…?
WOMAN: No, but I asked…
MAN: Is there…?
WOMAN: Tomorrow, she said.
MAN: 'Kay.

Still, the ESP thing is strong with my wife. She has a twin brother, and one will often call the other just when the other was thinking of the one (does that make sense?). Or they’ve gotten together only to discover they’re wearing similar clothing (No, Jeff doesn’t wear dresses, but he may be wearing a blue checked shirt and my wife will have on a blue gingham blouse. It’s happened more than once). As twins, they seem to have a very strong psychic bond.
