If so, when you have to put eye color down on a form, what do you do? Do you list every single possible color? What if you can only choose one? Do you put down Hazel or do you just choose the one you like best?
I ask because my son’s eyes can either be true gray, green gray, true green, hazel green, or brown with a green border. There really is not one color that is most frequent. Would Hazel be sort of the catch-all color for these kinds of eyes?
BTW, I am so jealous of his eye color! The girls are going to go crazy over him; he already has the longest, blackest eyelashes imaginable.
Well, my eyes are generally a deep blue, but for some odd reason they flash red whenever I get angry. Things tend to burst into flame when this happens. I don’t know why.
My eyes and my son’s eyes can be blue, green, grey, or light brown. I put down “hazel” when asked because at a passing glance, that’s what color they seem to be.
My eyes change from green to brown or any mix in between. I put down hazel on forms. My eyes normally turn green in low light situations, but my wife says she knows when I get horny because they always turn green.
My eyes can be green, blueish, grey etc. I usually put “green” down, since that’s what they were when I wore contacts…
My son’s are Blue, but can be grey or green or hazel, he usually puts down “varies” when asked eye color…
Count me in on the grey/blue/green side. I think the deal is that my eyes are grey, but they look different colors depending on the lighting, what I’m wearing, etc. Most of the time I check “blue” because that’s my favorite color.
Me too! I thought my father and I were the only ones! I put down hazel, because my eyes are usually a muted green kind of color, but at times they appear blue, sometimes they are brighter green, and people have also told me they thought I had brown eyes, but that is probably because they are fairly dark, so from a distance, people assume they’re brown.
My son’s eyes range from blue to green. It’ll be interesting to see what my daughter’s eyes do, as they are true blue now (6 months). Both hubby and I have green eyes.
My eyes I generally list as grey cuz thats the base colour they are. They often change from grey to grey/green to grey/blue to even purplish… it all depends on what I wear my moods and sometimes the weather too.
I also think of my eyes as my best feature. I’m lucky to have long dark lashes (though the tips are clear so when I put mascara on they are even longer… its kinda cool)
Mine generally vary anywhere from a pale blue-gray to a brownish-green over the course of a few months. Apparently, this is more common than I had realized. I just put down “hazel”.
My niece and nephew both have vivid blue eyes that sometimes shift up to violet–it’s a pretty striking effect…
My eyes are one of my best features (as with most Aries). They are brown-green and have gold, blue, and dark green specks in them. I put hazel on forms and military I.D.
I always put down hazel.
Depending on my mood and time of day they are different colors.
When I wake up they are an emerald green. No specs of brown in them at all. By about lunch time they are more of a grey-green. By the time I get home they are usually green with brown around the outside. By the time I eat dinner they shift to brown with a small ring of green around the iris. Usually by the time I go to bed, they are pure brown.
I have no idea why they change like this, and it’s not always on a schedule. When I’m pissed or uh…aroused, they are very green.
