Do you love all your kids equally?

Like the other parents here, I love my kids differently but the same. They’re both my favorite for different reasons.

DangerGirl, who is almost 6, is so bright and interesting. She reads a lot, so I get to share my favorite books with her and find new ones to enjoy. I read out loud to her too. She asks questions all the time, and always has new ideas for an experiment or a project; she’s enthusiastic about everything in the whole world. She’s just such a fun kid to have around, and if I’m out shopping, especially for books, I’m always thinking of things she’d like. Oh, and she loves to dress up, and I have fun making her dresses and costumes.

DangerBaby, who at 3 no longer deserves the name, is the cutest, funniest kid on the planet. I just want to snuggle her all day long! She’s always saying weird things, and she is just a complete crack-up to have around, from the way she runs around with her fluffy hair bouncing all over the place to the way she sings songs she makes up. She’s more mechanical than her sister and is scarily good at puzzles. She’s the one who hangs around watching her dad put a computer together. I wouldn’t be surprised if she starts learning to read this year. And she’s so dang cute that it’s fun to find or make clothes for her.

So, there, I’ve rambled on about my adorable children.
