I think though that there is another possible thing going on, as I did check the Wikipedia cites on climate sciences and the “scandals” Breivik is contradicting himself on what information was actually there, he is IMO attempting to mislead the court and the authorities about the actual sources that gave him the information he relied on.
IIRC he has mentioned that there are others like him and that he moved around groups of like minded people, not likely to get help from him on the specifics, but IMHO it is more likely that he is telling misleading information regarding who his reprehensible sources really are.
Actively calling for genocide would be considered trolling. Simply noting that one has the odd belief that it would be a good thing to have enough lone nuts with guns shooting people, (people that the actual lone nut did not actually shoot), and that we should admire the lone nut for killing a bunch of kids who were not even culturally, ethnically, or religiously of the Middle East, is suggestive of several possible things: trolling, a separation from reality or serious confusion brought on by an abuse of drugs or alcohol or a mental trauma, or any number of other problems.
