Do you think Katie Couric is fat ?

This morning, I was listening to the radio and a couple of the DJ’s were talking about a show she did, where she was talking to teenagers about sex. For no clear reason the conversation changed to how fat she is.

I don’t watch The Today Show, so I rarely see her, but I would think that if she gained a major amout of weight, it would be discussed somewhere else.

If Katie Couric is considered fat, there is no hope for anyone like me. Is she ?

My response when reading this thread title was, WTF?

I know many people on here have strong opinions regarding her personality, but I would by no means call her fat. Actually, I wouldn’t call anyone fat, but to answer the question, no, shes not fat.

I’ll bet that if Katie Couric were a man, they’d be calling her “gay” instead of “fat.” For people like this, “fat” is the worst possible thing you could call a woman, just like “gay” is the worst possible thing you could call a man. It has nothing to do with the actual fatness/gayness of the person in question, it’s merely a generic, adolescent insult.

No. I didn’t see more than a few minutes of the show in question (I only watched enough to decide it wasn’t interesting). But I did see Katie and she certainly didn’t look fat.

The last time I saw her on TV, she was sitting in a chair and she looked fat.
she has that middle age spread, and her thighs are big. They usually don’t show her like that. I was as surprised as everyone else here until I saw that.

Now I could go on all day about her black eye liner, screwy smile, and annoying personality. But she makes 13 million a year, so what do I know?

I don’t know if she is fat, but all I think of when I see her is when she had that camera up her butt on LIVE TV. I think it was a colon cancer exam and she decided to have it done live on TV so the whole world could see the insides of her butthole. WTF??? :confused:
