As for myself, I don’t think I post enough to make a very big footprint. I sometimes think there are guests with higher post counts than mine.
No idea, really. I suspect it would not be any sort of blow to the board by any reach of the imagination; there may be a relative handful of people may say “hey, whatever became of…” and then move on to something important.

Well, I am somewhat prolific, but that means nothing.
I highly doubt I would be missed; in fact, I suspect that there are several(many? who knows? certainly not me) here that would shrug and say “who?” or even sigh with relief.
I don’t have much to contribute here-I am smart, but in no way even close to the smarter posters here. I am nowhere near as broadly read or as widely experienced as many here. I am boring. My humor is neither snarky or dry enough to add to any discussion. My thoughts tend to the banal. My woes are not all that interesting or exotic; even my depressioin is mild. I have some liberal leanings and some traditional leanings…IOW, mainstream, conventional, mundane and even insipid are adjectives that come to mind when describing me.

What happened to her, anyway? I vaguely noticed a lack of Eve posts and finally did a search a few weeks ago when a zombie thread had one of her posts – It’s been January since she was heard from last. ‘Eve’ is too short for a search, so I’ve missed anything where she was saying good-bye or something.
And, no, I’m dubious that folks would notice my disappearance. Except for old movies in CS my focus is too scattered.

I do remember and recognize a handful of people here, but I’d have an easier time if we were allowed avatars as I’m a little better with faces. Then again, how un-SDMB would avatars be?
