People say they notice when I’m not around – of course, I have a tendency to start a thread announcing my return if I’m gone for a week or more, so it’s not exactly a random sample.
I think members of the MMP would be missed after a while…
I’d miss you since I’m in the area and there aren’t many of us in Milwaukee.
I’ll usually show up in electrical threads since that’s what I do, but I doubt if anyone would notice if I stopped posting.
Speaking of missing…
The hell’s Crafterman?
Nope. I’ve not really been indoctrinated into any particular club or group.
Most folks don’t notice when I do post, so I don’t suppose anyone would notice if I stopped.
I think it would be noticed if I stopped posting for a few weeks. It might be greeted with a sigh of relief by many, but I do think it would be noticed.
CalMeacham, I would notice you missing from the mythologies threads. I always expect to see you in those.
twickster, I am sure I would notice if you were missing.
I have noticed Maureen is posting less frequently lately. She seems to post in spurts.
I think there has been a few threads on waiting for **Eve ** to return.
People have probably noticed, **Excalibre ** has pretty much left the board. I think he let his membership lapse this time.

Three minutes too late. I was going to say the same as Winston Smith (see, I noticed).
ETA:
What Exit?, the hamsters would throw a party if you didn’t post for a day, let alone two weeks.
I was going to post this almost verbatim, Winston. Curse you.
What CalMeacham said. (Except with other, more AHunter3-specific factors substituted for unusual sig lines and optics threads).
People would notice eventually.
I would notice you missing from Baseball threads pretty quick. I think I would catch on to **Winston ** being missing again.
BTW: I agree with your edit
Perhaps, if it was mid-sentence.
No – your absence would definitely be noted. You’re our resident scatologist.
What she said…
I don’t think so. It would be nice to be wrong about it, but I don’t think I’ve made such an impression here that I’d be missed if I went away.
There was a period of about six months when I stopped posting, and nobody noticed (except maybe the other people who weren’t posting). This is a board with many active members, but few “star” members whose absence will be remarked upon.
Are you kidding? I’m Mr. Cellophane. If I posted incontrovertible proof of God’s existence including his cell number, e-mail address and photos of him shaking hands with Elvis I’d be ignored. I could post the definitive solution to global warming that was not only easy to do but cost effective with immediate results and the silence would be deafening.
God, I’m depressed now. Just ignore me.
Only if a thread in Cafe Society seemed to be lacking a bit of dogmatism.
Ah, but that doesn’t mean that no one noticed.
But how do you know?
Nope. After 8 years I really haven’t made much of a presence. Which is okay.

Are you kidding? You could hear the servers sigh with relief all the way in California.
