Do You Weigh Over 140 Pounds? Yes/No Answer Only

yes

No.

Yup. A few years ago, I did fall below to about 140 pounds - I looked freakishly skinny (I’m 6’0")

Yes.

yes

I weigh exactly 140 lbs. Out of my immediate family, only my 18 year old daughter weighs less than 140 – she is short (4’9") and weighs, 100 lbs give or take 5 lbs. My son and husband are average height or shorter (5’8" and 5’9") and weigh 165 and 155. Of the for of us, I’m the only one who looks fattish, and I only look slightly overweight – I wear a size 8 or 10. I definately think 140 is a ridiculous ‘average weight’ nowadays.

Nope.

Yes :frowning:

No, not even close

Yes. Over by about 30 pounds.

140 pounds would be rather on the skinny side for me, as I’m 6ft tall.

Yes.

no

New totals are:

Over 140 = 152
Under 140 = 59
About 140 exactly =11

I think we are seeing a trend and the trend is about 2:1 for over 140 pounds.

Will be interesting to see if they change the “average adult weight” in the near future.

I think my OP point has been made, but feel free to continue to answer and I will tally again later.

Other contributing factors.

The boat has bench seating with a center aisle. However the aisle cuts it so two people sit on one side and three on the other. No matter what the average weight of an adult is the load is not centered.

Since certification the boat added a new, heavier engine and a Plexiglas bubble top. This keeps the rain off the people looking at the trees. However when the boat tipped and the people shifted to the low side. the Plexiglas acted like a hamster ball. Nobody fell out of the boat. If they did the boat may have righted itself but instead the boat rolled over.

Add to the fact that the 72 year-old former police officer with a history of alcoholism, who was conveniently not tested after the accident, as required by law, and you get a series of little mistakes that add up to a mess.

No. I’d kill myself if I did.

Yes.

Never.
