Some people are too computer illiterate to find the specific porn they’re after so rather than dicking around (hah!) they just pony up for it. Some people have enough money that they don’t give any fucks (hah!).
Occasionally on YouTube, I’ve found videos that make me click on a button to verify that I’m over 18, because the videos have some content that users have found are NSFW or R-rated in some way.
And some people have esoteric fetishes that aren’t covered very often in the free stuff. For instance, I have a hard time finding videos that combine my two major fetishes, and, when I do, it’s usually a demo clip of a paid session.
It’s not the money that concerns me, it’s the security of my credit card! I would highly recommend using a pre-loaded gift card for transactions such as those.

Dailymotion is the one that is pretty close to what I was trying to ask about, however, that doesn’t mean I wont be visiting a few of the other sites to see what kind of screwy stuff is going on out there.
One question about the xhamster site. I confess I went to the site, and I clicked on the selection of what I thought I would like to see. After five (5) clicks, I still hadn’t seen a thing, except ads or pointers to other sites.
I wasn’t looking at anything strange. Just a woman alone with her thoughts. So, I didn’t think the popups etc would be too bad. But 5 clocks without the end choice? That’s a waste of time for anyone I would think. Especially with some of the more straight forward YouTube-ish sites out there.
I don’t know this, but I can see hampster being loaded with spyware, adware, and malware.
Most of the free stuff is stolen from paysites. If there weren’t any paysites, the free stuff likely couldn’t exist at all.
Pay sites also offer higher quality resolution, regular output, specific niche fetishes, and direct interaction.
This is a good point. But I think that, especially over these last couple years, it’s becoming increasingly easy to find highly specialized pornography essentially pirated on free sites. Even among completely amateur pornography I think it’s all becoming more and more common.
Another huge reason why many people just get it for free.
Pay sites tend to be frequented by people with very specific tastes that mainstream/amateur sites don’t cater to. You know… clown porn, ball-stomping, raptors, fucking machines.
Is this true? Because some of the free sites are huge and pretty well known. Or is it likely that the pay for porn sites set up these free sites in the hope that you get addicted to their product and begin to pay?

Good point. Some aren’t stolen, they’re donated, and I’m sure the rest of them turn a blind eye, as in the end they are good advertising.
I agree that Dailymotion is the site that you (the OP) are searching for. It’s probably the world’s second largest video website and one of its major differences to Youtube is the more relaxed policy toward nudity and sexual content. Dailymotion is a French website and the user base is mainly European so that might explain a lot. They do have a family filter similar to other sites, which you can turn on and off.
Vimeo and Metacafe are also somewhat more accepting for adult-type content. What is an important distinction that many people in this thread don’t seem to get, is that nudity does not equal porn. These video sharing services like Dailymotion do allow nudity but do not allow porn. For further information, refer to Wikipedia’s comparison of video sites.
As for the various “free porn” sites that people are touting here. They are of questionable legality due to a large amount of posted videos being pirated from paysites. This doesn’t get taken down for the same reasons that there are many pirated videos in Youtube: the copyright owners don’t have time or resources to hunt down all the violations. But of course, there are also many commercial providers that offer a small fraction of their material for free on these sites as advertisement. It seems to be good business, as many users end up subscribers on these paysites for better quality and more variety in their content.
