I have very curly hair, so I see why, but it still drives me crazy.
Wet, my hair looks sexy. It can even look hot.
Dry…it looks cute. Always cute, never anything more. I’m always back to cute.
Anyone else? Describe your hair!

Wet chicks in general are very sexy. I don’t know why.
My hair is pretty much the same wet or dry. It’s brown, it’s kind of short, it lies there. It dries by itself pretty quickly.
This is one of those universal truths. I don’t know why it’s so either.
I no longer have enough hair to make a difference.
Well, that’s *some * comfort. Let’s see, my hair takes about two hours to dry completely, but only about an hour each time to lose the “wet” look. So I hope you don’t mind me popping off for a shower every hour. Don’t mind the pruny skin. Say, do you have a pool? Cause, you know that would be even better, I could just spend the whole day in the pool.
Come people, we live in the digital camera age. Surely we don’t need words to describe ourselves from dry to wet, when we can post pictures?
I don’t own a digital camera, I’m afraid.
I own a Polaroid*, but I’m out of film. When I get some perhaps I will consider taking Before & After photos.
*I really like Polaroids. I realize they’re kind of outdated, but I think they’re a lot of fun. So please don’t make fun of me!
I have just enough hair for it being wet to make a difference and yeah, I definitely look better right after a shower than an hour before or after. Not that that is saying much though.

Dry…it looks like a mop.
My hair is really long and curly, so when it’s wet it looks even longer and isn’t nearly as fluffy, and when it dries it is extremely fluffy. I like it fluffy because it takes attention away from the rest of me.
That’s exactly how mine is, it falls into these gorgeous long curls. When dry, it forms into tight, thick curls, and once again I am forever relegated to cute.
When I had my long hair it would just look like wet straight hair after stepping out of the shower but after it dried it would turn into nice curly should length locks. Needless to say I didn’t was my hair very much when it was long.
When my hair gets wet, two things happen:
It takes a darker tone (when dry, it’s brown), and it is flat against the head (when dry, it tends to “poof” out slightly).
I like my hair wet, because its the one time its actually straight anymore.
I have wavy/curly hair, thick, and a ton of it. Living in a moisture-ridden climate only makes it worse. I dread poof. I am haunted by poof.
I miss the fluffy straight hair I had when I lived in a more desert-like dry climate.
WTF? Are you me? That is me exactly. I don’t think ringlets can be anything other than “cute”.
I’m fairly sure I’m not you, cause I would never think of such a cool username.
Other than that, yes. Ponytails especially…ringlets.
I was called Shirley Temple as a child. How about you?
Thanks!
YES! All the time! Freaky…
My hair looks the same wet or dry: not on my head.
My hair gets darker when wet, but my it looks the best when it’s been soaked in rain water.
My hair turns black when wet and is generally more manageable. If I’m going to put any product in it, I have to do it with damp hair or it simply looks silly. Dried out, my hair tends to frizz more and stick up in random spot. I’m happy that it never actually feels dry or harsh, but for look it is just… yeah, blah.
Ok, then you must be me. I was constantly compared to Shirley Temple.
Now I have long, thick curly hair, and when it’s wet, it’s all shiny and smooth, just curling at the ends. As it dries, it boings up into ringlets. And tangles. Grr, the tangles!
