I have been identifying old photos in Arkansas and think about her every time I come across a neat photo or one of those intriguing Arkansas place names like Booger Hollow, Bull Shoals or 56. Yes, there is a town named “56” and I know why.
Plus all that talk of shotgun totin’, long limbs, tattered jeans and shrunk blouses adds up… Just sayin’

I don’t have a crush on her, but when they haul me off to the Old Folks’ Home, I hope it’s the same one as Beck and Thelma Lou are at, just for the good company.
No way. The first time I saw her she was posting about working a concession stand. That’s never an appetizing first impression.
I’ll admit it. I had a small crush on Beck for a while. ( a true crush, fleeting and short).
I remember watching her posts from the beginning and wondering if she was going to sink or swim. Turned out she’s a shark disguised as a guppy. It’s been a fascinating progression to watch as she’s grown and made this place her own.
I’m awake and well. So the bad, bad, bad news is: 5.5 yo granddaughter wanted to know all about my Pikachu line. So now I’m a cool Nana with my own Pikachu! Yay!
