Was find when I went to work on the 19th of October, passed the health check. About an hour or so after I came home started feeling feverish, achy, coughing… oh, crap, thinks I. Then the crushing fatigue set in.
Got tested on Wednesday. By that time I had what the tester described as a “wicked cough” and it was clear I either had covid or flu.
Test result on Sunday - yep, covid.
I’d been home (except to take the test) since the 19th. By the time I got the test results I was starting to feel just a teeny bit better. About three days later I was definitely on the mend.
Finally cleared to leave the house this morning. So I have officially had it and gotten over it. Happy to have had a mild case, but it still was no fun.
