He seems to have abruptly vanished. He last posted 6-26 and his last posts didn’t indicate anything out of the ordinary.
I e-mailed him a couple of days ago and no answer yet.
I don’t, but I’m sure that Family Circus has already covered his absence.
I have no idea where he went, but I hope he turns up. He seemed like a nice guy. Unfortunately it sounded like he was pretty much on his own so I don’t think anyone would be able to tell us if there was something wrong.
Sorry, don’t know him. You are right to be concerned. the last person I noticed missing and tried to contact through a thread and PMs was David Simmons, and that did not end well.
Post #2084 in this thread on another forum appears to have been made by a MarkXXX in Chicago, earlier today. I can’t view his user profile because I’m not registered on that site and new registrations are disabled. But it seems as though that might possibly be him.
I hope so. If it’s him, he’s not nearly as chatty as he is here.
I just hope he’s not answering his email because it’s not current.
I’m registered over there, I just sent him a PM and linked back to this thread, but he’s only got 23 posts in 6 years and he wasn’t asking a question just making a passing comment, so it doesn’t mean he’ll be signing back on any time soon. His last post before that was 12/28/10.

I tried to post in the Facebook group to find him but FB is giving me the finger right now. If others here are a member of that group maybe you could contact him that way?
It IS summertime and the height of vacation season. Perhaps he’s just away?
Here’s hoping he’s ok. And if he’s having such a great time he forgot about everyone, then I hope he has pics to share. 
Last I remember, Mark is not doing well financially and would not be likely to be going on vacation. His recent diet has been rice and beans, IIRC.
