Saw a woman who is the spitting image of her but much much younger judging Iron Chef last week. Didn’t catch the name and wiki doesn’t list any offspring, but that could just be an omission. Does she have a daughter in the entertainment industry?

That certainly could be her. Couldn’t tell from the pics though, as Karine looked a little chunkier than the person I saw. Maybe she slimmed down
Karine’s weight cycled in the last 18 months or so. She started quite plump, became almost alarmingly thin but quite happy seeming (there was discussion on various fan sites about possible weight loss surgery) but recently she’s put some of the weight back on.
Bates’ biography on IMDB does not make any mention of any children. As the bio does mention her parents, two sisters, and ex-husband, if she did have children, I would imagine they, too, would have been mentioned.
