Does POTUS Biden believe that he's the smartest in the room?

You mean because CFEFWSG was ever so much more forthright and accurate?

It’s pretty much a combination of Biden’s senility and stupidity. He doesn’t have a quick answer to the questions, sometimes because he doesn’t understand the question, sometimes because he can’t formulate an answer to the question, and sometimes because he doesn’t know the answer to the question, even though it’s a question that’s within his area of political “expertise”.

That’s a lot of words to say nothing. Start with the smear, and then make up a bunch of stuff to support it.

In reading this thread, I’m wondering how many posters are deriding Boris Johnson’s lying and the obfuscations being used to justify those lies, but are defending Joe Biden’s lies.

While I wonder how many posters suddenly concerned about “Joe Biden’s lying” failed to evince even a tiny fraction of concern over the far more egregious and frequent lying by the previous incumbent, and are even now attempting equate the far more egregious and frequent lying by Boris Johnson with Biden purely for the purposes of partisan mudslinging.

Every time I see a Biden speech, I’m left with one of two impressions. He’s in a white-knuckled mode to get through the speech, even though he’s just reading it from a teleprompter, or he’s lost track of whatever he’s talking about. And when he doesn’t have a teleprompter, he’s even more bumbling. Remember, he’s the guy who repeated “Let’s Go Brandon” when he should have known, if his elderly brain had not mislaid the fact, that “Let’s Go Brandon” was a euphemism for “Fuck Joe Biden”.

If you interpret every possible thing Biden says or does with the assumption that he’s a bumbling doofus, barely able to tie his shoes, your interpretation might make sense. But without this assumption it sounds absolutely nuts.

Your mind reading of Biden about the Brandon thing sounds even nuttier.

This isn’t analysis - this is preparation for an interview with Hannity when you want to get him to pretend to laugh.

Just to be clear, I’m totally engaging in “partisan mudslinging”. You mention the previous US president, that to imitate Dante, I suppose you believe should be assigned to the ninth level of the dishonest inferno. So Joe Biden should only be assigned to the eighth level of the dishonest inferno?

But really, I’m more interested in questioning the hypocrisy of posters in this thread. Biden has clearly been outright dishonest in his past. The point of comparing Joe Biden to Boris Johnson is to look at the nature of his past excuses.

‘‘I made some mistakes,’’ said Mr. Biden

Mr. Biden said that ‘‘the exaggerated shadow’’ of his mistakes had ‘‘begun to obscure the essence of my candidacy and the essence of Joe Biden.’’

‘‘I’m angry at myself for having been put in the position - put myself in the position - of having to make this choice,’’ Mr. Biden said in a firm, clear voice. ‘‘And I am no less frustrated for the environment of Presidential politics that makes it so difficult to let the American people measure the whole Joe Biden and not just misstatements I have made.’’

The comparison of Joe Biden’s history of dishonesty to Boris Johnson’s history of dishonesty is apt.

Biden has been dishonest at times. I don’t think any poster is unwilling to say this.

Is it a bad thing when a president threatens someone with violence? Or just Biden?

So, in the most media-focused position in the world, where President Biden is constantly briefed on the news and news related to him, he wasn’t informed about the “Let’s Go Brandon” meme and that it meant “Fuck Joe Biden”? That doesn’t seem plausible. What’s more plausible is that he was informed about the meme and forgot about it. You know, in the way that elderly people get forgetful about details.

I don’t understand this rebuttal. Joe Biden repeated the “Let’s Go Brandon” meme during an interview about NORAD’s tracking of Santa’s Christmas sleigh.

So all the disagreements on the points of accuracy about Biden’s dishonesty have just been a trivial discussion about the details of the dishonesty?

Your mind reading powers continue! Somehow you know he forgot about it, rather than he thought it was funny, or a million other explanations that don’t require elderly forgetfulness.

I hope you use your magical powers for good and not evil!

All discussions on this board are trivial. Yes, all the disagreements have been about various details. Like pretty much every disagreement on this board.

Joe is about as honest as the average Joe. The comical hypocrisy of those willing to exaggerate and embellish his tendency to exaggerate and embellish is a sight to behold.

Indeed. When one starts from a position of supporting a side that is openly dishonest and hypocritical, the only defense available is to pretend that an equivalence exists and that all parties are equally dishonest and hypocritical.

If one starts from that assertion, one may safely arrive at that conclusion. If one actually considers the histories of both without deliberately exaggerated Biden’s faults and minimizing Johnson’s or making unsupported statements about their thought processes, one may safely arrive at the conclusion that there is a difference of several orders of magnitude between the two.

No because the MAGATs who voted for CFEFWSG would have voted for him no many how many thousand more lies he told, but some people who actually think about whom they vote for might have declined to vote for Biden if they gave a shit about him embellishing his past.

(Btw, what’s CFEFWSG again?)

psst: Lies only matter when they are coming out of the mouth of President Joseph R Biden.

This concludes my Red talk.

I don’t know much about Boris Johnson, but I’m pretty sure there’s no Joe Biden version of this…
