Person, Woman, Man, Camera, TV. Look at me, I can recognize a picture of a camel!
Wasn’t it great that Trump scored the same as my elderly grandmother on a test to see if he should be put into a home.

I’ll just leave this here for folks to ponder:
Firstly your title isn’t in line with your OP. Unless you consider that reporters are the second smartest people in any room (a proposition in serious doubt) considering yourself smarter than them does not make you the smartest person in the room. Additionally, I don’t consider it enormously arrogant for Biden to consider himself the smartest person in the room, in a room full of reporters.
Secondly, your real beef seems to be with Biden not answering questions or calling the questions stupid.
Many reporters asked “gotcha” questions of various types. One common type is a question that is designed to produce an ambiguous answer that the reporter can use to imply something that the answer did not mean.
Getting shitty with reporters about this sort of carry-on probably isn’t a great look for any politician but is understandable.
There’s a pretty wide gap between ‘smartest in the room’ and ‘significantly smarter than Peter Doocy’.
Perhaps the premise needs to be inverted, such that Biden is of the opinion that Doocy is the stupidest person in the room.
Depends on where you are.
If Doocy is at his offices at Fox News, that gap may be non-existent.
Nobody knows more than Trump knows about the Dunning-Krueger effect.
Did you just misspell Dunning–Kruger?
Yes. I am not a very good speller.
See how that works?
Oh come in, man.
“Stupid son of a bitch” is just locker room talk!
