The brand new Animatrix looks amazing, but I’m wary of downloading it incase it contains spoilers or plot elements that may be revealed in the Matrix Sequels. Can anyone who’s seen it tell me (without revealing anything) if my concern is vailid?
Well, it’s rather hard to tell seeing as I havn’t seen the Matrix sequels. I doubt that the content of the first Animatrix episode will be a major plot point in the sequels, though it may be briefly mentioned.
I’ve seen it and my answer is No.
But I don’t think this was ever an issue.
The Matrix trilogy deals/will deal with the thread of Neo & Company “unmatrixing” the world.
Animatrix deals with how the world became that way.
The former’s a specific story.
The latter’s generic history.
It can only enhance your movie experience, not detract from it.
Nope. It talks about events way before the Matrix even started.
