Does the views count count-inue in locked threads?

Clearly the ‘replies’ counter stops after a thread is locked, but what about views? For example, the epic alternate-author LoTRthread has 2,041 views. Is that count as of its locking or as of today?

I tried reading a thread and checking, but don’t know if I’d already been there so the Board doesn’t track or if the views database is updated at intervals.

It continues. Most noticeable in the “_____________ was banned” threads when there are no replies.

And I thought I did my due diligence before posting. Obvious answer was obvious–best displayed in the forum I was posting to.
