See that stain over my head in that picture (which I took for The Drum Forum I also post to)?
It was here when we moved in and D thinks it’s a candle, but I think it’s a dick. She thinks it’s a rain leak, but me, I’m not so sure.
That little rounded part at the bottom looks like balls to me, so I’m saying it’s a dick.

Also, very much looks like a rain leak. That line in the middle is where the rafter is so that spot didn’t get water damaged. Though you’d think it would just soak underneath it. I suppose it could be leaking just above it and splashing both ways. The brown coloring is what happens when rain water drips through shingles and insulation.
