This rumor says that Fox pulled the last episode of Dollhouse. Anyone hear this elsewhere?
Last Wednesday, a Fox press release touted shows scheduled for the upcoming sweeps. Reviewing the schedule, it was noted that the 12th episode of Dollhouse will be shown as season finale. But 13 episodes had been shot. (Actually, 14. But one is the original pilot, not shown on TV & “cannibalized” for episodes we’ve seen. It will be a DVD extra.) Contains spoilers…
This really set the cat among the canaries; Twitter-ers Twittered & Bloggers Blogged. Check out Whedonesque & TwoP for more info. E! Online explained it more clearly. (Note: There are spoilers at the link.)
It’s said that Fox will announce its decision about Dollhouse’s future in late May. Ratings have been less than stellar. Damn shame; the last few episodes have been really excellent. (Rumor says that Fox insisted the first episodes be “stand-alone”–we’re just now getting to the really good stuff.)
The Dollhouse is real. And some inmates do complete their contracts. Wiped of their initial personalities & all the skills they learned as Actives, they are delivered to Fox. Where they get jobs in PR.
