Yeah? So? They didn’t say how many books or countries. That’s a pretty big commitment.
Tonight’s concert can also be watched on the streaming channel Circle Country – which is carried on Comcast (channel 4045, at least for me) and Pluto. Probably carried on other services, which I don’t know about, as well.
Circle Country will also show Dolly Parton: Big Hair, Bigger Heart at 6:09 Eastern and an Opry concert from March which features Vince Gill and others covering Dolly’s songs at 7:05.
It’s looking likely that the name of the Nashville airport will be renamed. It will be addressed in a meeting on September 17th.
Maybe it’ll last longer than the Bob Hope airport.
Burbank committed a marketing blunder in not associating the branding with the location, but that’s an artifact of there being a half dozen airports within that greater metropolitan area. Pretty sure no one would be confused in TN but they can always name it “Nashville Dolly Parton” or “Dolly Parton Nashville” for public branding purposes.
I’m flying into Dolly Parton tonight sounds kind of risqué. I think Dolly would chuckle at that and say don’t you wish!
I looked at the airport in Google Earth. It could use a facelift.

Graham Norton had Dolly Parton as a guest on his chat show several times and I remember one occasion when he visited her at her Tennessee amusement park.
I’m sure it needed extensive alterations.
