His hotel looks awesome.

I hope everyone stays there when they visit DC when he becomes POTUS. Clinton rented out the Lincoln bedroom so I don’t see anything wrong with what he’s doing.

You’re going to have to hope a little harder than that.
Yeah. about that…
Lets not imply too much, for all we know, those workers are here on a voluntary basis. Probably.
One difference I’ve spotted – the reporting routinely calls out his attempt to blame Birtherism on Hillary as false, sometimes with unbleeped use of the L-word.
Oh I do not mean to imply his “thumb nose” is the thing. But the package is. All together it turns the page.
CNN actually called Trump’s statements today “lies.” The actual word. You could tell that Wolf was trembling at crossing this line, but he got it out.
So this is a line for the media. They’ve spent months beating around the bush and using indirection and commentators to make the case that Trump lies. Now they will say it. Maybe even say it every time Trump lies, which means they’ll use it every day.
What’s going on is that it makes sure that black voters aren’t complacent and that they have a reason to come out and vote. In states that come down to a margin of 1 to 1 1/2 percent, it could be a difference maker. Beyond that, it reminds the less Trumpy of the Trump supporters that maybe there’s some shame in voting for someone who deliberately promotes conspiracy theories. Moreover, as others have pointed out, it’s also a potential “trap” issue. Trump gets caught by surprise, the story doesn’t die down as fast as he would like, he gets peppered with more questions, and says even more dumb things. If nothing else, it could (and probably will) stop the profuse bleeding of bad press for Hillary Clinton and shifts the negativity in his direction for a few days. It’s about black voters, but not about them solely.
Regarding Trump finally conceding that the President was in fact born in America, The New York Times says today, “Indeed, the topic was such a fringe issue within the Republican Party that in 2011, conservatives, including Ann Coulter, now a vocal Trump supporter, called on Mr. Trump to stop pursuing the issue.”
I think you’d have to be pretty out there for Ann Coulter to be, relatively, the voice of reason.
A lot of people are talking about how his hotels have hidden cameras in all the rooms so he can record the guests fucking, and then sell the tapes back to future guests on his porn channels. I don’t know, but a lot of very smart people are saying this. I think somebody should look into this.
I’ve spoken to several upper echelon Chicago Police Department officials who told me that they’ve seen the real Obama birth certificate, which they found during a now-covered-up drug raid at his residence.
it was from…
KENYA!
Ike, I think I heard that, too. I can’t remember where–maybe here–but it was quite recently, maybe two minutes ago. All I know is that it’s trending.
Doesn’t sound worth the backlash risk you spoke of. Black voter turnout is usually pretty good and I don’t see an angry Beyonce CNN interview making much of a difference.
What’s the big deal? Seriously?
I really don’t get the panties in the wad over this. There are required to be met for being President. One is being a natural born citizen. If someone has a more exotic upbringing, like Obama, or even McCain for that matter, shouldn’t someone check it out?
Now if people are STILL questioning Obama’s eligibility today, then that’s problem—for them. But the way I see it, Obama had an exotic upbringing, it was looked into (as it should have been) and that ends it. Trump, as far as I’ve heard today, did state that Obama was born here. So, why is this still a problem? Why is it racism? As I said, it seems to me that it has to do with the fact that he had a more exotic childhood than most. No?
Oh, come on. Trump continued it well past the “it’s a reasonable question” phase.
There was never any evidence that Obama was born anywhere but Hawaii. Trump spread this baseless smear for years despite zero evidence. Nothing changed between 2011 and now, and he continued birthering for years afterwards, only finally retracting it today.
Birtherism never had anything behind it but racism, since there’s no other possible explanation. There was never any evidence for it, not a single shred, and there was tons of evidence (freely available in 2008) that he was born in Hawaii.
Being born in Cleveland, I had a more exotic childhood than most. Ghoulardi…River on fire…Harvey Pekar. It was always thrilling, but no one ever questioned my one hundred per cent Americanism.
Is this the right place to post a “Good God, I’ve missed Keith Olbermann’s rants about politics instead of sports,” link?
I just heard that Donald Trump collapsed on stage and was rushed to the hospital, where they pumped his stomach and discovered ten gallons of Rod Stewart’s semen. #DonaldTrump #GerbilStuffing #TireInflatorExplodedRectum
Trump obliquely invites violence against Clinton.
He’ll say anything to stay in the headlines.
