Donald Trump's 2016 General Election Campaign

That’s good news but wow. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen 0% in one of these polls before. I would have predicted a very low number but 0%?

Well, there was that one guy, but after Trump drew attention to him at that rally he bailed.

Trump losing big among college educated voters.

54% Hillary.

32% Trump.

It’s not like this wasn’t totally obvious without a poll.

It’s a sad commentary on our system of higher education that the proportion of Trump supporters is that high among the college-educated.

For a lot of people, a college education is just advanced vo-tech. They went to learn how to make money. They didn’t want an education, and didn’t get one.

Sad but true.

I suspect there is bit of a shy Trump voter effect at play here-while Trump will lose ground among college-educated voters (unless he wins by a fairly large margin), he will certainly win at least 40% of the college vote and probably 45%. Secondly, this shouldn’t be surprising considering voters vote their interests and even with Trump’s protectionist and populist platform, his tax plans are beneficial for the wealthy then those of Hillary Clinton’s. Finally, college education does not automatically produce “enlightened” liberals-a lot of it depends on the student body composition and culture of the universities. A look at Weimar-era election results, for example, suggests a majority of college-educated gentile Germans voted for the Nazis in the final few elections before Hitler took power.

Or perhaps a lot of people who pursue “vo-tech” in colleges come from underprivileged backgrounds which induced them to pursue courses of study that would best allow them to provide for themselves and their families. What majors do you even consider proper “education” as opposed to the more mercenary ones?

List of speakers at convention.

So there are separate slots for Newt Gingrich and VP Nominee. And Pence is not listed as a speaker anywhere.

Is this a spoiler for the latest episode of* Political Apprentice “The Decision”*?

Not exactly a murderer’s row of top GOP talent, is it?

And where are the future talents for the GOP? Usually, up and comers are showcased, like Marco Rubio at the 2012 convention. Any light on the Republican horizon?

Night 1, A Benghazi focus? Are they scheduling a Monica Lewinsky lookalike contest as well?

Tim Tebow is speaking? Seriously? Tim Tebow?

I note Sarah Palin is not listed… but the VP candidate is not named. Please, God. Please.

Tim Tebow is not only speaking, he speaking on night 4.

Ok, that’s odd. I wonder what game they’re playing here. If you don’t remember, Washington Post did an article about Trump using his charitable foundation’s money to buy a signed Tim Tebow helmut. Is Trump thumbing his nose?

(Bolding mine.)

Let’s not Godwinize this situation quite yet!

Supposedly, Trump is setting aside time to talk about Bill Clinton’s infidelities so… maybe?

Note that Ms. Palin didn’t make the speaker’s cut. There’s someone whose star has fizzled out even among people who should be her devotees.

That’s just his finger in it. He’s more the nose picker booger eater than nose thumber.

Seriously his target audience is not reading or caring about accusations of relatively penny-ante pilfering (if it was dirtier money would it be filfering?) from his charity. Anybody with a strong positive image who is willing to have a spot will be begged to appear.

But it’s just such an odd coincidence. I mean how often does Tebow’s name come up?
